One of the things that I had planned to do for ages was find a way to have some of my larger builds put out and not just in boxes. One of the hardest parts of being a builder who just loves to do so much is finding the space, and the prims to be able to display or show your things. I struggle with this constantly.

Shades of Babylon Pavilion
To help with that I have been using rezzing vendors in my store for certain things, and have finally finally set up a prefab/housing vendor that can showcase some of the bigger things that have been lurking in my inventory. Some things have never even been placed out at my store… some have but then picked up to make room for something else.
Some of this type of thing is my Shades of Babylon pieces. Awhile back I had been working on and building some desert type things with some neutral tones. I had come up with a bath, and two pavilions that I thought turned out pretty well. Lovely accents around the brickwork, using some awesome textures to highlight some intricate detail along the underside of the roof and I just never had the space to place all of it out.

Shades of Babylon Large Pavilion
I have plans to put out more things in the near future, but for now you can check these out in world if you like.

White Blossom Weeping Cherry Tree
In the cherry blossom’s shade
there’s no such thing
as a stranger.
-Kobayashi Issa
I’ve been playing with the weeping cherry tree textures for months. I could never seem to get anything that I liked to come out of it. They always looked sort of flat, or sparse. I kept fiddling, and fiddling until today when I happened across one of my weeping willow trees. Deciding to mess with it I think I finally found a way to do them that I like! I mixed up the look so that it is lush, full, and verdant looking. I love them. They look so much better! I couldn’t wait to put them out.
Four different color blossoms (peach, pink, light pink, and white), one large version and one small version totaling up to eight different trees. You have to come by the store and see them, I put a picture of one but it really isn’t the same as seeing it for yourself.

Flower Wind Pavilion/Tea House
I also placed out a small tea house/pavilion near the front called the Flower Wind. Japanese styled with very rich texturing. Not too big, and not too small it weighs in at only 19 prims, included with the packages is a simple set of stairs, and some sculptured prim docks/decking. Soft light has been placed inside the tea house to give it a glow during the day or in the evening.

The Morning Star Collection
I promised updates and I meant it. The latest release at the Roawenwood is the “Morning Star Collection”. The set of course started out as something else entirely and has metamorphosed into its present offering. A Moroccan and desert inspired set of furniture with super plush cushions, lots of cuddle poses and deep wood accents. The bed/divan has 14 different couples sets with intimate caresses, cuddles, or just chatting. Embedded in the divan there is also 3 single sits so you can recline at your leisure. I try to minimize the amount of pose balls that I use by embedding animations into the fixtures. Multipose seating is a favorite with different poses, menu driven and adjustable. A multipose lockmeister/lockguard enabled slave ring with a tattered rug for your submissive or slave if you desire was created to accent the other pieces in the collection.
To go along with the actual furniture I have created a ceiling fixture, lanterns, lighting, a decorative mirror, potted plants and more to accent the pieces. Set upon the low table there is a tea service, and baklava! A sweet tip from one of my groupies had me whipping up something in my kitchen for you and your guests.
The pieces use sculptured prims in many cases for flawless, seamless, luxurious comfort… I have also included a color change or texture change system in most of the pieces so you can jazz it up with different color combinations.

ahh I’m back. I have been soooooooooo bad at updating my website so I’m moving to a blog format. A little bit easier to manage and a lot less BS to have to sort through when I am working. Believe me I have enough of that and enough to keep me occupied.
There has been A LOT going on at my place. A new look, lots of new items, and all sorts of new goodies. Sometimes when the creative juices get flowing there will be TONS put out and I won’t know what to put on here first, then there are other times…. those times when I get, ummmm…. stuck, and I can’t come up with something new. In those instances I’ll try to do a product highlight or something to keep this place moving. I really love building, creating, and helping out my customers so drop me a line in world or leave a comment.
I’ll be back when I have something more interesting to say.
