Wow!  Checking on my update subscriber list I found much to my surprise we’ve gotten over 400 people on the list now.  That is so cool, ya’ll put up with me and my ramblings like troopers!

As a thank you the list got a sweet little gift… a fur draped massage table with drawers that open/close along with two different massage animation sets.  I hope everyone enjoys it!

Released an herbalist/apothecary work station with an embedded animation when no one was looking too.  It is mostly sculptured, working drawers, working doors, shelving… drying racks of herbs and a few other misc. accessories on it.

Oh there’s nothing really new at the store today.  I’ve been skin shopping, it’s a tedious task at times because yanno… you try on a million demos and in general I will tell you that I find very few that I like.  Very few designers, and very few that ever look “right” to me for the mood I’m in at the time.

I am a self professed hair and skin whore.  I suppose when you end up being naked a lot, taking a lot of pictures, or whatever you end up paying a little bit more attention to things like hair and skin.  At least I do, and a part of it I think is trying to find a ‘you’ that you feel comfy in while you’re enjoying your SL.

I’m writing today cuz I found a nice pack of skins that won’t break the bank for most of ya’ll.  Skins are face it, expensive.  It’s hard finding a good skin, and then forking over the money even though it is generally money well spent… how often do we really buy skins anyhow.  Well, except me… I buy them too often.

*coughs*

Anyways…..

At LAQ, that is Laqroki but most can’t ever remember how to spell their name after they changed it awhile back, there is a couple new sets of skins in their Glow line that is not all that expensive.  You can get a set of 10 skins priced at just under 2,000L… that’s not bad.  Three shades sold seperately… a light type, medium type and then a tanner one.  Couple different looks, I’m only posting a picture of the one.  One drawback, you can’t purchase the skins seperate but yanno…. sometimes you can spend 2k or more for just ONE skin… let alone 10 so it evens out somewhere.

Soooooo why did I post this?  erm… I don’t know.  I feel for all those people trying to find a decent skin?  Or maybe I’m feeling generous…. or maybe I’m just thinking that a lot of people like to look good without having to spend a ton.  I really don’t know, but hey it doesn’t hurt.  I figure if I feel like posting it then go with it.  I’m a strong believer in following your gut.  *nods lots*  And no I didn’t buy this set!!  LOL  Actually I’m looking for a different look but thought these were done well and the price was right, I just wanted to share.

Today was busy work day but along with that I managed to create a new piece of clothing that is a little different looking than my other pieces.  A camisk that I’m calling “Harlequin Burnt”.  It is short, high on the hips so it doesn’t hide much though it does cover the breasts and part of the back.  It’s a bolder look, with very rich coloring that might not be for everyone.

I liked it, and it honestly looks really cool with a pair of jeans too.  There’s a sash that sweeps along the waist and folds over in front of the thigh, an ornament adorns the sash making it a lil fancier.

The top is available in 7 different colors, from red to black to pink to orange.  I’ll attach  a few pics so you can get an idea.  Available at my in world location, I haven’t decided if I should put it on Xstreet or not.  Sometimes I avoid putting things on Xstreet where I have to fix the photos much so I don’t fall under adult stuff.  lol

I also updated the Midnight Mania boards, putting one of the Harlequin camisks into one… and then a very nice waterfall set with some sculptured swans into the other one.  I cleaned out and added new things to the lucky chairs too.  I left a few of the jewelry pieces from the belly dance outfit but then added some of the silks, and a pair of boots from around the store.  I’m going to try to come up with something that is more exclusive for the chairs but right now I’m stretched a lil thin so I figured having about 9 different pieces from around the store should suffice for now.  *chuckles*

Just like I promised I put together a rougher version of my massage table.  I’ve had really good feedback on the nicer/fancier versions of the tables and thought that those who like a more rugged look could benefit too.  We all need to relax on occasion, not just the fancier types eh?

This one just like my other versions has the four different massage animations, though this one differs in that the accessories are seperate.  The table itself is only 8 prims, the accessory table is 9 prims… if you want to use the accessory table you can… if not then you don’t have to, which makes this a great low prim option for people who still want to have the luxury of a good massage.

It’s Friday!!!  Woot!  I hope you’ve had a good week.  This friday I’m sending a couple quick notes for ya’ll.

I can’t help but laugh with this one but I just -had- to do it.  A new release!  The Drama Zone Popcorn Bag!!  Now EVERYONE has at one time or another had a moment or two within their online time where they wanted to whip out a bag of popcorn, plop their backside down and watch the drama unfold.  Well…. now you can, and as a service to the community I’m offering it for free!

In the landing area where I keep the other lil nifty gifts or things to do I’ve added two popcorn bags, both animated attachments… one for men, and one for women.  The animations are slightly different in each in the way they sit.  Get one or both but have fun!

As far as store updates this week has been one where I have seriously upgraded some of my furniture.  The Legionnaires throne, the Zumurrud day bed, the Artifice loveseat all have new animation sets added to them giving them tons more options and fun.  The Desert Opulence Dance pit has been altered to use the animation menu that the Tavern Dance pit now uses so you don’t need a poseball anymore to dance.

Both of my massage tables have also been upgraded with a new massage animation so they now both have 4 different massages in them, not just the three previous.  I’m currently working on a more rustic version besides the two fancier… I’ll drop a line when that is released.
