Roawenwood: Design & Craft

I have lots of news and things going on all at once.  Sometimes I just… whew, get a little overwhelmed with it all so bear with while I write this up and keep you all updated.

First off I have a new set of silks.  Last week I released the Midice Kirtle Set, this week I’m releasing the sister outfit to it for ya’ll that don’t want to wear a kirtle.  The set is done in the same eye popping colors that the kirtle is done in, a wee bit worn… lots of nice texture to the top and the skirts.  Ropes wrap around the hips and the belly with a few different ways to wear them.  You can wear them with the included belly ropes that have the delicate talendar blossoms decorating them, or you can wear them without… just the ropes around the hips.  Perfect for everyday wear or for when you are trying to look a little summery.  Included with it is the rope choker with a blossom on it, and the hair flower… I do love the way the coloring turned out on all of them… even the colors I generally don’t care for look superb.  Available reasonably priced for only 295L just like the kirtle set I don’t think I set them too far out of reach for anyone who is looking for a bright vibrant new outfit.

The special edition Anysia silks are out of the lucky chairs, if you missed them I’m really sorry… if you’re one of those who got them… congrats!  I won’t be offering them in the store for sale so you might be able to get away with being a wee bit unique. *chuckles*

I’ve added two new outfits for at least the month of August to the lucky chairs in their place.  I’m offering up a special edition color of the Midice kirtle set, and silks set.  These will also not be sold in the store so if you want them then you have to catch them in the chairs.  The color is a deep blueish color, Midnight.  They have everything that the ones are for sale including the flowers, belts and options so you aren’t getting a substandard freebie.

Tomorrow kicks off the beginning of the Fall Frenzy (Fall Fun?  The name changed I think lol)  Grid Hunt but I’m lettin ya’ll in on a little secret… I set out and have my item up for grabs already so you can come down and get it if you want before the ‘official’ start of the hunt.  It’s only a day early right?  No harm done.  *winks*  Anyhow… it’s not just another outfit or something for the ladies.  It’s a fun item for couples that can be used for autumn decor, farms, rustic, or something along those lines.  It has 5 different couples animations sets…. this is a really nice lil item.  I’m not going to cheat and post a picture or tell you what it is.  If you wanna see you gonna have to come and get it!!  Just look for the little leaf and pick it up for 0L$.

I have a few hunts coming up… The Gorean Grid Hunt starts soon, and there’s a couples hunt that is coming up too within the next month that I’m a part of.  Will write up little notes as they approach.

I changed the Lucky Tribe Redemption prize for a massage table instead of the kirtle set that has been in there for awhile now if you are someone who plays that… don’t forget that all of my chairs reward kudos if you need them.

Wow a whole month has swept by and it’s the end of July… so it’s that time again.  Time to pick the winner for the monthly picks contest.  Remember, each month I pick a winner at random.

The winner receives 1000L and a 1000L store credit to be used on whatever strikes their fancy at Roawenwood.  If you’d like a chance to win all you have to do is come by the store, click on the board for the contest, place Roawenwood in your picks and you’re all set!  Each month the list is wiped clean and we start all over.  On the last day of the month I will draw at random a winner and send out another notice.

For all you freebie hunters and bargain shoppers I replaced the prizes in the midnight mania boards.  I’m not making any promises how long they’ll remain in there but I placed a full bath set including tub, accessories, rug, candles etc.

Then for a change of pace I put something in there for the guys!!  I know that is pretty rare isn’t it?  Soooo I tossed one of the laced shirts in there, honest they look pretty good on women too so don’t feel too left out ladies.  I’ve worn them a few times.  I even picked a good color.  Red!

Flirty and bold is what I’d call my new kirtle set.  Granted the basic style is seen often enough, in trying to remain close to the books the top has a deep plunging neckline that goes past the belly button and a deep v along the back showing off the contours of the back.

The skirts sway and move flirtatiously as a girl moves open on either side covering just the front so you have to use your imagination just a bit.  I love the deep colors that I used for the skirts and the top… they’re bold, and distressed a bit.  Great everyday wear for the northern bond while the months are warmer.  Delicately entwined within the ropes that surround her hips are some
lovely talendars to show off her natural beauty, affix one in your
hair, and maybe wear the rope choker that has a single bloom attached.
Who says a bondmaid can’t indulge herself with a few flowers for her
Jarl? And if not in the mood the flowers are separate from the skirts
so the kirtle can be worn for everyday.  Available in 6 colors including a traditionally colored ivory type.

Secondly there’s a fun brightly colored patchwork and stitched camisk for just about anyone really.  The top looks great with jeans, or alone as the Gorean slave girl wanders doing her work.  I thought it was a nice little addition to my lines… This one is available in 5 colors and priced reasonably.  Might as well be colorful if you have to wear rags.  *chuckles*

Whew!  The move went alright, we got our things delivered last friday so the house is a little bit better than it was.  Without internet or TV or anything else it gave me a bit of time to get things settled in.  Of course I still have tons and tons to do so I won’t be around online as much as I may have been in the past or might be in the future but at least I’m back.  I got my internet and have begun working through the notecards, etc that were left.  If you don’t hear from me and left me a message please please send me another one.  I’ll get to them all as soon as I am able.

I did find a wee bit of time to work on a couple clothing sets while I was offline…. so maybe there will be an outfit or two coming out in the near future.
