Hello hello! Once again it a few more weeks has passed and it was time to pick the winner for my monthly contest.
The winner receives 1000L and a 1000L store credit to be used on whatever strikes their fancy at Roawenwood. If you’d like a chance to win all you have to do is come by the store, click on the board for the contest, place Roawenwood in your picks and you’re all set! Each month the list is wiped clean and we start all over. On the last day of the month I will draw at random a winner and send out another notice.
The winner for this past month is…. Cub Ruby!!
Sometimes it is so fun sending the little notes when I pick a winner… her first words were: “me?? omg”
hehe
Congrats!!
The list has been wiped clean and if you want to have a chance, now is the time to sign back up.

Today I logged in to an IM with a webpage URL pasted into it, no message or anything but curiosity got the better of me so I googled the domain to see what it was. It was for a blog and entries were fashion related so I figured… ok I’ll click.
Imagine my surprise when there in front of me is a post titled Camisk Elegance, and featured within the pages is my Zhen Banded Camisk in two different colors. I’m so thrilled that Sasy found my place and that she liked the top! It’s always great to get feedback and I’m truly grateful for the effort that bloggers go through to highlight or showcase different creators or designers. It’s just awesome.
I like that camisk in particular myself, I love how the colors came out and have always thought it was a rather elegant offering in that line of clothing.
So thank you very much Sasy!

Have a garden? Favorite flower pot? Well now you can water your plants and take care of them wherever you wish… at home, at your favorite spot, or role play sim. I released a watering can attachment that you simply wear from your inventory and it will begin the animation. Steady the can, pour, then sweep your arm outward and back while the particle effect water droplets cascade down gently. Perfect for work, play, gardeners and role players. I thought it turned out pretty nice. Particles work on click so you can turn them on or off.
I’ve had a kitchen in my inventory that I hadn’t released but has been completed for quite some time. This morning I set it out and have it set up so ya’ll can take a peek. It is a larger version of the Manor House Ovens that I had put in my kitchen stuff around the time of the Gorfest. It takes aspects from the ovens, and integrates a sink… along with the work station that I created seperately with the rezzing scenes. This kitchen is ve
ry interactive.
Within the sink there are two animations. Washing dishes, and washing hands so you can work out what you want within your role play at the sink. In the cutting board area on the countertop there is the rezz menu. In it there are the seven rezzable scenes including kneading dough, cutting meat, making kalda, rolling dough and much more. The props for the scenes and the sink are in the hanging towel on the edge of the counter.
While it is so interactive it also is a very detailed and carefully created piece that has tankards hanging, wine goblets, fires, pots, pans, baskets… barrels and working cabinets. Touch and the door swing open or closed. I haven’t placed it on Xstreet or in vendors because it seems like the type of thing you’d want to give a test run before buying…. so, check it out at my in world main location.
I also released another new chore. It seems like there are a lot of workers out there sooooo I set up a cleaning up the straw, mucking the stalls type thing… piles of sculptured and prim dirty mucky straw with a single prim pitchfork stuck in it for the chore… and also an avatar attachment version of the pitchfork (straw not included) so you can use work anywhere if you already have a barn or don’t want the actual chore to set out. The chore weighs in around 4 prims so not really that bad.

The end of summer is tickling at me and I’ve had lots of plans in real life lately. Family coming to visit, going to visit family… this weekend I’ll be pretty busy too but I haven’t forgotten ya’ll and have had a couple releases that have been let go quietly without group updates. I’ll probably make a group update and highlight some things soon but at the moment I’m just leaving a few notes here.
First I made up a couple of fun pieces. The Back Alley Bar set; a set of barrels, crates, grain sacks and
other pieces to create a role play area for the downtrodden, along docks, in an alley somewhere, I’m sure there’s no limit besides your imagination. It comes with 5 different spots for ya’ll to hang out. 3 lounging animations to drape yourself along the crates… and 2 drinking animations, you wear the bottle and sway… singing, arm raised in drunken revelry. I had fun creating it and while it isn’t for everyone I think it could be a lot of fun for you too. I also made up a bottle and tankard avatar attachment to go along with it, wear it and sing along sitting nearby.
This week sees also the release of a couple of pieces in my landscaping department. 1 prim sculptured ground cover. At the moment available in two different colors it covers a 10×10 area using just one prim. Bright red and purple blossoms with lush green foliage. I have them out against some of the textures that I got for my sim from Botanical. They look really good, fit in nice. You can see them not too awful far from the landing point at my main store.
For all you workers out there I made up a new “chore” though this isn’t a chore outright I wouldn’t think.
It’s stone chiseling and set up for the guys. I haven’t done a female counterpart though I could I suppose, it seems most work sets for role play are geared towards the kajira, or female. Sweeping, mopping, sewing, knitting, etc. So on occasion I think it only appropriate that we should get some work outta the guys too! Besides… this is something that is considered a craft. Stone masons hard at work creating sculptures or stone for building, a great accessory I would think for a lot of folks.
So I’ll leave you for now, I have much to do and probably not enough time to do it all like usual. The Gorean Grid Wide Hunt is wrapping up this weekend so if you haven’t gotten your lil package from my place you have until Monday morning. I’m going to leave it out through the weekend for all those last minute hunters who might be interested in picking it up.

I don’t have any new products or things to put out there at this precise moment but I don’t wanna forget all my groupies and loyal customers. I have taken down the chores that were on the group discount board (sorry!! But technically they were up there a lot longer than the two days I was going to leave them lol) and have replaced them with the Sahar Belly Dance Outfit. You can now for a limited time get the entire line at 50% off its normal price.
I created it earlier this year as a special order for a girl who wanted a special outfit to dance for her Master in, and then let me create different colors for it. A very detailed outfit. 6 different colors.
