Earn 2500L in Store Credit

An opportunity for you…. I need a scripter.  I don’t generally look for this sort of thing making due with what I can find or do for myself however for something specific I wish to accomplish I need someone who is reliable, and can script something for me that allows me to have copy/transfer permissions at least so I can include it in a product. (I WILL NOT sell anything full permission ever, permissions would be redone to copy/no transfer or no copy/transfer always).  Here’s where I figured I could put my feelers out there… ya’ll listen to me ramble and someone out there must know someone.

The rundown:
╚»╚»  Sear needs a scripter.
╚»╚»  You find and/or know a scripter who is looking for work.  I need copy/transfer permissions at least so it can be used in a product.
╚»╚»  Ideally they contact me
╚»╚»  If they can do what I need, they get hired, they _complete_ the work to MY satisfaction and are paid/compensated for their work as agreed
╚»╚»  You (the person who referred them) receive as a thank you and finders fee 2500L store credit to be used at any of the stores in the Roawenwood Store group (Splinter’d, Roawenwood, Roawenwood Acres)

In other words, I’m not handing out 2500L worth of stuff just for a name.  The work has to be done and completed before anyone gets that.  Just covering my backside.  *winks*

Madison Den Set & CoLab #34

CoLab Creator Kits, Furniture, Sales and Discounts No Comments »

This time of year always has me thinking about curling up with a good book and fireplaces so that got me to making up a set that has an appeal for different types of spaces. Could be great for den, library, scribery or even just as a quiet spot in your house.  Three pieces that can be bought either individually or as a set.  I did this in some really nice tones, rich burgundy type fabric for the cushions, shaded and highlighted for depth then the pillows in warm browns and greens.  It really is a nice set that I think can appeal to just about anyone really.  The wood is slightly distressed but not too much so it looks inviting but not too shabby.  Really I love how it turned out, it looks like a nice place to curl up, while away the hours or hide from a hectic day.  It can be purchased piece by piece or as a set.  When purchased as a set you’ll also get a bonus rug and harvest decor that you can perch upon the front of the fireplace.  All pieces are copy/modify so it really is a great deal and a wonderful set.

The entire Madison Den Set is marked down 50%.  I have a special countdown vendor with it set up, thing is… see…. I have the whole set discounted already when you buy it instead of buying them individually by 25%, THEN I knocked THAT price down to about a 50% off so really you’re getting quite the deal.

COLAB KIT #34- CHRISTMAS AT THE COTTAGE

Yay!!  A new CoLab kit for everyone to have some fun with.  CoLab is a group of content creators who make either full permission or end user content that is kept at a low introductory price of no more than 60L for two weeks.  This round I have an offering of course.  I did actually have something else in mind but it didn’t quite work out.  Last round I had that awesome harp… I’m going to rework that and offer it up redone because I wanted it to be something of a limited offer.  I have lots coming up of course over the next weeks too so we’ll see.  If you want this rounds CoLab kit take a trip down.

-:- ROAWENWOOD ACRES GETS A FACELIFT -:-

Have you seen it?!  Roawenwood Acres is the next area that has gotten a face lift.  It’s still a wee bit under construction, displays aren’t quite finished but if you want to take a peek you can see the new build…. I’m going to be placing some items there in vendors like @ Splinter’d very soon so you get store credit and all there too.  The Christmas and Winter decor has begun to creep out and will be added to during the next few weeks.  I hope you all enjoy!

Other news?  Hunts, Hunts, and Events ALL over the place.  Next week I’m part of the 25L Black Tues. event, next weekend I’m doing a Black Friday sales event at my Cookie Jar spot, and I’ll probably be doing another round of 60L weekends.  This weekend I’ll be doing 60L weekend too so I’ll be sending out that notice on Saturday or so.  This Saturday the Traditional Christmas Hunt starts and there will be a giftie for everyone interested.  See, busy busy busy.  I’m SWAMPED!  *laughs*

Have a great rest of your week, and take care.

The Astrid kirtle is a little different than the skimpy silks that I released last week.  Since the weather is turning cooler it always gets me thinking about clothes that cover a wee bit more.

The kirtle is cut low in the front and back highlighting the length of the torso from different angles.  It’s only done in three colors.  I kept it simple but I like how they turned out.

There’s the classic white, then black and brown.  I like them quite a bit.  Included is the skirts, a modified version of the soft leather ankle boots, armbands, cuffs for the sleeves and the top.

I redid a couple chores this week too, changing their permissions along with their scripts to make them a lil better.  I’m going to be getting them around more I think real soon to get them all done as best as I can.

A little bit of everything

Chores & Work, Clothing, Mesh Clothing, Silks No Comments »

This past week there was a few releases that I highlighted.  In general I have new things floating around all of the time anyhow so I just pick and choose which ones I’m going to be telling ya’ll about well… I’ve been something on a clothes kick even though I haven’t entirely stopped doing other things either.  I just can’t sit still for very long.  Something is always rolling around waiting to be plucked and put out there for you.  What I REALLY want to do again is what I have done in the past.  Work on and save things releasing them a little at a time so I don’t have a “omg what do I do now” kind of thing going. *laughs*

Gitana Rigged Mesh Corset

Gitana Rigged Mesh Corset

I have two new outfit types…. and one I think is confusing folks a little even though I do label the box, I think I’m going to have to add an extra label or two.  It’s a rigged mesh corset.  The great thing about mesh is that it moves with the body.  This corset is so neat.  It attaches to the hand because the corset itself is already rigged to the SL avatar, so it doesn’t matter which attachment point it is on really… you could change it to anything and it will still sit on the correct spot.

Secondly, the viewer.  If you’re not using a viewer that can see mesh like the LL viewer or something like Firestorm then all you are going to see is a bunch of funky textured balls and no corset.  I know for a fact that viewer issues is one of the big reasons why mesh hasn’t been a huge BOOM on the grid yet.  People don’t want to switch, they like their Phoenix, they like their _insert viewer name here_.  To be entirely honest I don’t even really use a mesh enabled viewer all the time.  I’ve worked with mesh some with a couple outfits and things but when it comes down to it I retreat back to Phoenix for ‘everyday’ use.  The corset looks very cool, and I have one in the Lucky Chair even because I thought it’d be a nice lil present.

The corset is named Gitana and it comes in some very harvesty autumn like colors along with a couple others.  Purple, Red and White, Red and Black, White and black, Pumpkin, Pumpkin Plaid,  and the one in the lucky chair is Harvest Plaid.  Each corset comes with alpha layer to hide the parts that aren’t supposed to show which reminds me – not EVERYONE will be able to wear this outfit happily.

Yeira Silks in Red

Yeira Silks in Red

One thing about rigged mesh clothing is that it can come one size fits ‘most’, and that’s what we have here.  I only have the corset in one size unfortunately so what that means is there is a DEMO for you to try it out beforehand to see if it will fit your avatar the way you like.

The second outfit that I did up is a very stringy lil thing.  Not a whole lot to it, which of course shouldn’t be a surprise for anyone who has known me too long.  I like to show off the body often enough, a new set of silks called Yeira.  The silks come with skirts, shoulder drape for the back, top & bottom, bracelets, armbands, and anklets.  It covers everything but has lines drawn across the body to show off the hips, belly and breast quite nicely I think.  Coming in four different colors… Red, Black, Silver, and Purple.  The RED is in the Lucky Chairs for now even!  Very nice hmm?

Last but not least I redid a chore.  The Butter Churn has been one of those favorite little things people like to pick up.

Churning Butter Workset

In the slow but steady evolution of my chore line I added some accessories, redid the permissions, and added an extra animation.  I have been rounding out and making the chores a little more for different reasons, partially if you’re going to spend your hard earned lindens you should feel like you’re getting a little something extra in some ways.

I am going to wrap this up for now… I have to get going!  The day is just about to get started and I don’t want to run late.  Talk to you soooooon I promise!  Have a great week.
