The Roawenwood is a labor of love.  The store has been open over two years, and I have been involved in Second Life since June 2006.

I build as the winds take me.  I will build almost anything if it catches my attention but mainly my tastes run towards medieval, Gorean, Gothic, old world type styling.  I love trees and nature so there is that of course…. it is hard to categorize just what I will work on or put out there since I have such an eclectic nature, it just sort of comes out in my work too.

During the fall of 2008 I was challenged.  My better half in real life who is also involved in SL asked me why I never tried my hand at clothing or silks.  I’ll be honest, I was chicken.  I had some ideas but I was afraid I’d either run out or that my work wouldn’t appeal to people, or that it wouldn’t be all that good but that didn’t stop me from trying and now I have a line of silks, rags, and clothing tucked into my store too.  They’ve been doing well so I guess those nerves were for nothing!

It has been so much fun learning and working on my builds.  Each one teaches me something a little different, and each one challenges me to try to work towards a better product or piece.   I guess I come at each build a little differently, I try to build things that I myself would really like to have or sometimes at a request from someone.  I can’t build it if I can’t ‘feel’ it.  I don’t know if that makes sense but each one of my creations are something that I either find a little fun, a little kinky, relaxing, whatever mood I am in at the time.  These are things I would have in my own home in SL, and I welcome you to journey with me while I continue on that path.

Best Wishes
