Hello hello, things are going so crazy round me lately I swear I almost forgot it was Wednesday. It’s awful when that sort of thing happens… end up feeling rather disconnected. Anyhow… I have a couple things today. An outfit and a chore.

The chore is something I’ve been meaning to redo. It’s the floor scrubbing buckets however with a twist. When I was first reading the Gorean novels there was a spot where these girls were scrubbing the floors and as the men walked down the corridor boots ringing out they threw themselves to their belly out of respect for them until they passed… only then raising themselves up to resume their labors. This little thought always tickled me. I know I’m odd… and onwards we go…. so my idea for my buckets was to have them to be able to be a bit more interactive… at least this is my hope. Finally I got down to it and got them done. These buckets not only have TWO different floor scrubbing animations in them, they also have 8 other poses for the role-player. Most of them are rather submissive in nature though I did include a kneeling animation without the hands crossed at the wrists… or the thighs parted real wide so others outside of a Gorean atmosphere could use it still. Lower in prims it weighs in at 5 so it won’t eat up your allowance too badly either. So while scrubbing away at those floors no longer do you have to hastily jump from your place to find an appropriate kneel or way to address someone as they approach! I think that’s rather nifty myself.

Now onto the outfit. This little number is rather cute, flaunting your curves, laced up the sides but leaving enough to the imagination and all without showing off too much for the more modest. Though around my place modest is rather subjective… it is still riding high on the thighs barely covering, hehe. It’s aptly entitled “Pinstriped”! Dark toned and done in 4 different colors this time… Red, black, blue, and brown.

So that’s my offering for this Hump Day… I have sooooooooo much coming up soon that I can barely contain myself. I have lots of content, hunts galore, and the sim should be opening up very very soon! OMG I just am beside myself… not sure what to do first! Trying to not get too weighed down too!

Have a great week and I hope ya’ll are doin well.

Not ONLY do we now gots chickens… I made a lil coop/hutch for them… it could be used for the chickens, vulos, or…. dare I say it…. Bunnies! Ok, I got that out of my system. This turned out nice with some very nice shading along the sculpts and throughout.

The one that I really wanted to let you know about is a new chore…. one I have been REALLY wanting for awhile but never had the animation to be able to do. Scattering feed… like to chickens or birds. I’m so hyped you wouldn’t believe it, and over something so simple too! Low prim, it weighs in at 4… embedded animation, and near the landing so you can try it out.

This week saw the release of a delicate silk with sculptured draped top. The set includes nipple rings, two different draped tops (one with nipple ring and one without), skirts, leg band and arm bands.

Offered with different color options, some with gold metals bands delicately sweeping around the hips and some with silver. I tried offering it in a few different varieties since I know I can get stuck on silver a lot… but these looked pretty good with gold too.

I also released a new chore… well sort of new. An old new chore. I redid my sweeping chore, new sculptured broom and the set is less primmy, adding up to only 3. I made an attachment like before too so it can be worn anywhere. This one has a smoother animation, sweeping and then bending to scrub at a particularly nasty spot. It can be tested and tried out down at the Five Blades location.

Most of this week I’ve been working on trying to come up with a build to use as a temporary location while I work on the main sim. It’s funny… I have this colossal sized building that is rather overwhelming to house my stuff…. and it almost seems like it is a little bit over the top considering it probably will only be used temporarily. Ah well.

I hope ya’ll enjoy, and since I got that build kinda going…. the store will probably be moved to a temp location in the sky soon. I just need to move things up there so that the bulk of inventory is left available. I hope ya’ll are having an awesome weekend!

Also a set of prim silks, called Taunt, they’re recolorable so you only have to buy the one set and then you can have them look however you want. They’re draped with tons of silver jewelry too.

There’s been an herb garden, a new peeling potatoes/suls chore… and then today I released the Forest Meadow set.

I’ll add some pics real soon.

Ack, I know! I didn’t update the blog much this week. I’ve been struggling with grid issues and things so much that I just didn’t get myself around to here till now.

Wednesday was a serious hump day. It felt like it was never going to end and the problems just kept mounting. SL was having fits. Couldn’t build, open my notecards or scripts, could do anything really for quite awhile so I didn’t get to do the event that I had planned for this week. However, since I am ever the optimist, I did do another secret sale/refund. This time though you can get any TWO items in my store for 50% off. It’s like the other sale… purchase your items, send me a NC with the transaction history and I’ll send you a 50% refund of your purchase price. Update list members are given first notice about sales and discounts so if you want to be kept up to date you should click on the subscribe button at the landing zone at Roawenwood.

You can take advantage of this with any purchases made until Feb. 13th right before midnight and we switch over to Valentines day. This way you can get a lil something for yourself, and something for a friend.

I’ve had quite a few releases that weren’t really announced on the blog, as well as a couple not even put through my update list. I’ve been working on a fishing set series, with more to come. The first was the Roawenwood Fishing Dinghy and then there was the Dockside Fishing Chair… this was a request actually from a customer. She loved the boat but wanted something for her deck, and voila there you have it. I already was going to do something similar but it was a good kick in the backside to get me moving. More to come with this series very soon.

I have a few little Valentines goodies at the landing zone. Some adorable lil bunnies, candy, baskets, that kind of thing. Last minute gift ideas.

I’m working on a new outfit, still trying to get the clothing layers the way I like and I’m trying to decide how flamboyant to make it. It’s a little different than previous releases so I hope ya’ll like it when it comes out.

I have a few new ideas rolling around in my brain… but that’s normal.

Happy Friday everyone, I hope this weekend goes wonderfully for you!

From gathering the ashes so you can make the lye, to the creation of said lye…. then onto the cooking, mixing, and rendering of the soap. After all of that there is also a piece for pouring the soap into the molds.

There’s four distinct pieces to the set each one with an embedded animation that is adjustable through menu… you know how much I try to avoid using poseballs if I can help it, helping create that immersive air for interactions. I think this set could be used by a lot of different types. Rustic and all, of course a slave chore but it could be used for those that have a business making soap or perfumes too. I can see all sorts of opportunity when you take a little bit of an effort… then pour it into something else.

It can be purchased as a set or individually if you only want a piece or two.

To try them out, come down to Roawenwood at the five blades sim.

Snowy weather has struck much of the grid from what I’ve seen and there’s a few out there who like to live amongst the northern climbs. For you I have something a little different to set up and have some relaxing fun in the snow.

Ice Fishing.

A small sculptured pond with room for up to four people to set around the edge at a time. Two relaxing spots, and two fishing spots each with a different fishing animation. Embedded and adjustable so there are no poseballs but no loss of functionality.

It is small enough and light enough in prims so that most can use it without any problems. An included bucket of fish is separate so you can decide to use it or not. Right click to sit, then click for the menu to choose which spot you want to sit on… click the stump to receive one of two fishing poles, one for one fishing anim…. the second for the other.

Have a good one.

I know that yesterday was Thanksgiving day… and I was busy making turkey and the whole big feast thing for the family… but I wanted to give a quick thanks to all of you who wander by. I’m very thankful to all of my customers, friends, and everyone in between, I hope I get that across in my dealings with you. I know sometimes life happens and passes by so fast that it is easy to forget that. Easy to forget to let people know how much you care about them, and how much you appreciate them even for all of the little things… It’s been great being able to be involved in Second Life, I have enjoyed it so much and hope that continues on into the new year. Happy holidays!!

I figured I’d toss out there a couple of news items for around the store. There are three grid hunts that I am participating in coming up soon.

The Gorean Grid Wide Hunt kicks off this weekend. My gift item is already out and has been for a couple of days because they were wanting it done before the Thanksgiving holiday. It might be of interest to more than just Goreans, it is a little more generic than ones I’ve offered in hunts past. A few pieces of furniture, low prim but nice.

I’m also doing a couple hunts in December, one starts the first… another starts on the fifth. A few things to look forward to.

There are quite a few fans of work and chore related or role play related accessories, you guys are going to be interested in this one.

On the palette there is three different sewing or knitting pillows, a knitting stool, spinning wheel, wool carding set, and a rocker. The rocker has two versions… one with three singles sits just to relax, and the other has an added set of knitting and sewing animations along with sewing basket to accent. I wanted to make sure that the ladies out there had the opportunity to have something a little more feminine for their parlor or home as well. The knitting and sewing pillows are a bit distressed, nice colors, and all floor based. Sitting on the pillow sewing and kneeling while knitting. Comes with accessories. The spinning wheel is lovingly crafted out of sculptured prims and textured really nicely. Perfect for work, or display… it has multiple speeds for the wheel, click to toggle the wheel on or off, or to adjust the speed. The stool comes seperately so you can adjust it as you need.

Cutting this post a little short but I do have more I’m going to write up tomorrow probably or very soon.

This past week I have had some really marvelous updates around the store. A brand new set of bath tubs, a slipper tub with some really awesome texturing giving it a depth and look that I really adore. It comes in four different metal tones…. bronze, black, pewter, or gold. The display model is the bronzed version, which is I must say my favorite though I do like the other ones quite a bit too. The tub has been given an MLP menu with FIVE different couples bathing animation sets. That’s quite a bit… different scrubbing, caressing, and snuggly type bathing sets. Then on top of that there is two different cuddles, and three single animations for the solo bather. Quite a bit to choose from while you soak away your troubles.

Released with the tub I put together a couple pieces of furniture to accent them. A large shelf unit, some greenery, a bureau accessorized with candles, folded towels and a few other pieces along with a plain bureau without the accessories. The cabinets and things have working drawers/doors. They’re custom textured and made of sculpted prims.

The Rustic Tub has been updated with the new animations and MLP menu as well.

I also placed out an Artists Set. The set comes with an easel that has 21 different paintings to choose from for the canvas. An embedded painting animation is included in the easel along with props so you can paint away. The thing is sold as a set with a small table, painting accessories, and blank canvas. Everything you need to set up a small studio.

Going a lil vulo crazy there is a large role play set over in the work area. A whole lot of lil birds, roosts, three different egg gathering chores, fencing and accessories for anyone who wants to start a vulo farm or have a bit of fun with their role play. It is a different twist on the normal chicken/vulo sets. I think it turned out to be a fun little thing…. even have a vulo nested inside an overturned bucket. *chuckles*

There is so much going on at Roawenwood… more and more things coming soon, and the winter set up is coming along very nicely. If you’ve been by you’ll see random prims flying by and a lot of white snowy stuff starting to show up on rooftops and along the ground.

I’m half hating that the snow is coming…. it’s going to get a wee bit cold real soon! I love the ice skating though… at least winter doesn’t last as long at my place as it does in real life!! LOL enjoy and don’t forget Wed. isn’t that far away, keep your eyes peeled for my hump day fun stuff.
