The chore is something I’ve been meaning to redo.  It’s the floor scrubbing buckets however with a twist.  When I was first reading the Gorean novels there was a spot where these girls were scrubbing the floors and as the men walked down the corridor boots ringing out they threw themselves to their belly out of respect for them until they passed… only then raising themselves up to resume their labors.  This little thought always tickled me.  I know I’m odd… and onwards we go…. so my idea for my buckets was to have them to be able to be a bit more interactive… at least this is my hope.  Finally I got down to it and got them done.  These buckets not only have TWO different floor scrubbing animations in them, they also have 8 other poses for the role-player.  Most of them are rather submissive in nature though I did include a kneeling animation without the hands crossed at the wrists… or the thighs parted real wide so others outside of a Gorean atmosphere could use it still.  Lower in prims it weighs in at 5 so it won’t eat up your allowance too badly either.  So while scrubbing away at those floors no longer do you have to hastily jump from your place to find an appropriate kneel or way to address someone as they approach!  I think that’s rather nifty myself.

Now onto the outfit.  This little number is rather cute, flaunting your curves, laced up the sides but leaving enough to the imagination and all without showing off too much for the more modest.  Though around my place modest is rather subjective… it is still riding high on the thighs barely covering, hehe.  It’s aptly entitled “Pinstriped”!  Dark toned and done in 4 different colors this time… Red, black, blue, and brown.

So that’s my offering for this Hump Day… I have sooooooooo much coming up soon that I can barely contain myself.  I have lots of content, hunts galore, and the sim should be opening up very very soon!  OMG I just am beside myself… not sure what to do first!  Trying to not get too weighed down too!

The outfit has 4 different tops, though it is technically 6 if you count all that is included.  Two camisk like tops with fabric sweeping along the breast and down low on the hips but not too low.  Then one version has belts across both breasts making it sorta of modest… and then one where one of the breasts is exposed.  Then there are two with just the belts, and I also included the belts on shirt layers so you can mix it up with other clothes too.  I’ve been wearing it with jeans and all sorts of things.  It’s quite fun.

Through Saturday (7/31) the outfits are going to be at a 50% discount.  I often do this with new releases so the early birds out there can get a great deal.  It comes in 6 different colors; black, blue, cream, green, purple and red…. there is as an extra bit of fun, and a bonus a special pretty pink version in the Lucky Chairs that WILL NOT be offered for sale in the store.  Mhmmm, an exclusive color just for the lucky chairs and won’t be released otherwise.  I’m still trying to decide if while it is in the chair if I should offer it for sale so ya’ll can get a sort of one of a kind thing w/out having to camp for it if you don’t want to.  Hmmmm… decisions decisions.  That’s almost worth a poll type question to my groupies lol

Anyhow, now that I am rambling on… This is a good one, I like it… hope you guys do too.

Aptly named “Tavern Wench” the dress comes in two variants.  In richly textured brown or black with corset and blouse.  The outfit includes arm frills, panties, glitch pants, two different skirts, corset, and the blouse in off white.  I’ve been wearing it actually… and that’s saying something.  I tend to avoid wearing my own clothing.  I know… odd quirk but one I can’t quite shake.

Along with the two base dress colors I decided to put the blouse/corset combo out in 6 different shades for those who either don’t want the dress…. This week saw the release of a delicate silk with sculptured draped top.  The set includes nipple rings, two different draped tops (one with nipple ring and one without), skirts, leg band and arm bands.

Offered with different color options, some with gold metals bands delicately sweeping around the hips and some with silver.  I tried offering it in a few different varieties since I know I can get stuck on silver a lot… but these looked pretty good with gold too.

I also released a new chore… well sort of new.  An old new chore.  I redid my sweeping chore, new sculptured broom and the set is less primmy, adding up to only 3.  I made an attachment like before too so it can be worn anywhere.  This one has a smoother animation, sweeping and then bending to scrub at a particularly nasty spot.  It can be tested and tried out down at the Five Blades location.

Most of this week I’ve been working on trying to come up with a build to use as a temporary location while I work on the main sim.  It’s funny… I have this colossal sized building that is rather overwhelming to house my stuff…. and it almost seems like it is a little bit over the top considering it probably will only be used temporarily.  Ah well.

It’s been crazy.  So much going on that here at 2 am my time I’m finally realizing… whoops!

I released a set of sandals that are awesomeness this week.  I know, I’m so modest right?  I can’t help it, I like these ones.  They’re called Phoenix Rising.  I picked the name because the way the prim work at the bottom of the tongue/top are turned out.  It reminded me of a phoenix.  Just an impression I got so I went with it, sometimes those are the best kind.

In 7 different versions… golden and black base texturing and then different variations in either pewter or gold ornamentation.  The black and the gold ones are my absolute favorite, the coloring just stands out and looks really good to me.  I like all of them but that is my favorite.  I think they’re a great accessory for fantasy, maybe Greek or Roman?  A rather pampered slave girl?  Maybe…

I also released a set of cages.  A stacked set of three for role-play.  One girl can be in each cage giving a nice look for capture rp scenes or a slavers home or something.  The other two are singles cages but are RLV enabled with scan and capture.  Once the girl is captured she’s placed within the cage, stripped and held.  I like them, made almost entirely of sculpted prims… shaded nicely too.  One has a linen mat, the other has strew strewn within the bottom so if you feel like being nice letting em have a blanket orrrrrrr not so nice……

The Myths and Legends 2 hunt started yesterday too.

I have that out with some hunt tracks, no hint… it’s really not that hard to find.  The hunt prim shoots off yellow sparkles in every direction.  *laughs*  So if in doubt, just look for the lil yellow particles floatin.

The Gorean Grid hunt is starting soon, this time they’re not doing numbered stores.  It’s one of those where you start wherever you want and just sorta pick up the trail as you go.  Never been in a hunt that did this before so I’m a lil curious how it will turn out.

I decided to do the Fortnight Freebie down at the GFM, so if you’re a bargain hunter I’m supposed to be doing that for the next two weeks, I’m setting up tomorrow/today.

Hump day releases this week were delicious… the Alamea camisk and then a twist on the grooming/make up table that I had created awhile back.  I had intended to make up a fancier version of the vanity for the Lady of the house or for a more lavish kennel or slave area but never really set aside the time to do it.  Well with the release of the sponge bath stuff I revisited this and got a couple of them done in the same gorgeous wood tones that they are in.  Two different color woods, and decorated to be pleasing to the eye as well as functional enough to save on prims if you need to or create a well thought out scene.

Onto the camisk.  Ohhh this little pretty isn’t for the faint of heart.  Sweeping downwards exposing one breast then sweeping across the hips exposing well…… quite a bit more, *coughs* this is a rather risque garment to wear.  Swirls and decoration across the belly accent the richly toned fabric.  It is available in 7 different colors for sale, and one deep dark plum color that will only be in the lucky chair either until the end of the month or until I take it out.  It will not be available for sale so this limited special color can keep you set apart just a little bit.

The lucky chair version does have a drawback though… it doesn’t come with the jewelry accessories that the for sale versions do.  The sale versions of the camisk also include beaded bracelets for both wrists, and a set of anklets to wear.

Spring time is finally beginning to shine bright sunlight into my life as the flowers begin to peek their way up through the soil.  The breezes still have that nip to the air even as you raise your face up to the sun to feel its warmth as the greyness begins to retreat… snow melted away and the earth returns to a green carpet of color.

This week saw the release of a new set of silks.  Something with a bold splash of color and the softness of flowers adorning the belts and accessories.  I had the idea for these rolling around a little bit and while they aren’t super fancy or ornate they are not your typical set of silks.  A soft glow surrounds the skirts as you move in gentle rhythm to music as you dance or as you fly through the air.  I thought they’d make a great addition especially during the spring season when everyone is ready for a bit of color and getting away from the heavier clothes.  Available in four different colors… purple, green, pink, and blue.

Honestly I really like these… bold, yet feminine I can see a forest Fae skipping through the woods all the way to the Gorean kajira writhing in the sands for her owner.  I haven’t really done a set of dancing type silks in awhile so these are a little refreshing to create.  Lately I have been working a lot on things for the outdoors… it’s been really good for me, getting me out of those gray winter time blues that can effect everyone as the seasons shift.

There’s been some submissions for the photo contest!!  I’m impressed and looking forward to see what else people come up with or decide to post.  It’s so much fun, I check the pool every once in awhile hoping to see something new.  There’s still a lot of time left because I’m leaving it open to submit photos through April 14th.

I know it takes time to be creative, to get a good picture and then fix it up if you’re of a mind to.  I really hope that people are having fun with it because that really is the whole point to it anyhow.

Remember, you can have more than one entry… I don’t mind, I’m just tickled to see what is put up.

Also a set of prim silks, called Taunt, they’re recolorable so you only have to buy the one set and then you can have them look however you want.  They’re draped with tons of silver jewelry too.

There’s been an herb garden, a new peeling potatoes/suls chore… and then today I released the Forest Meadow set.

Old and worn socks have arrived at Roawenwood!  Sculptured prim heavy knitted socks in 11 different colors, worn, and shaded, slouched down at the ankle.  You get the whole socks, and you also get a sock with a hole in the end of the toe… sculpty big toe stickin out ever so nicely too!

A great role play accessory for men or women.  The socks are sized for women but they can be stretched to fit a mans foot as well.  I tried, and honest it works, I might resize and put a male set into the boxes just to make it easier and then add they are unisex however I haven’t yet.  Maybe tomorrow.  *grins*

They look real nice… and are a lot of fun.  A couple of the colors, plum and copper I believe, have been added to the lucky chairs along with the exclusive outfit that I put in there earlier this month.

You know I’m shooting myself in the foot over this one probably.  I LOVE the color that I picked for the Lucky Chair, limiting it is a tough one but I’m gonna do it.  I’m gonna stick to it.  So if you want a color that you won’t be able to get after ohhh…. the end of January/beginning of February then you will have to come down and try your luck.

Yesterday I tossed up my usual Hump Day idea.  This week I put the babydoll camisks at a 50% discount, and then put the three different versions of my massage table at a 50% discount.

My Wednesday was proving to be rather stressful… so what better way to combat it hmmm?  I thought it was a good idea.  It has been so great seeing so many people coming through and checking out my place.  The last few days have been so busy.  It’s crazy really.  I love it.
