This past month I was approached and asked if I wanted to see if I could design and furnish a set of furniture for valentines day AND stay within the prim limits that would be used in the Linden Homes.  A whole house, 117 prims.  Three designers per house, so that means my room…. 39 Prims.  *winces* Ouch.

Wow, really?  39 prims, me?  For a WHOLE room?  I’m such a prim whore too.  Do you have ANY idea how much strugglin there was with this one?   Details, eye candy, immersion… I just love it and no offense, a big boxy empty room… This was a tough one but we DID it!  My group decided to try to do a rather romantic French country inspired look using blacks & whites with reds and pinks as accents.  My contribution is a full set that can be bought in pieces or as a set.  Priced inexpensively in general because it is meant for Linden Homes and people on a limited budget.  The fireplace really needs to be seen in world, it looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the pictures.

Granted AFTER completing the display I added an accent or two in the packages, but because a lot are 1 prim or two you can pick/choose which to use to stay within your prim limits.  The full display is HERE >>The Cookie Jar Linden Homes Display <<  at the Cookie Jar sim where you can see ALL of the displays that each team did along with the other members I worked with.  It was a lot of fun!

Another group that is new is called Simply the Best, the idea is a group of creators who have been invited as some of the best participate in a weekly sale or do something for the group.  This week I have my showers on half off.  This really is a great deal.  325L for a shower that has BOTH singles animations and LIMITED EDITION animations for couples that aren’t for sale any longer on the grid.  The showers are on sale for the week only.  A rustic version, and a more ornate fancier version so really there is something for either.  The showers also have realistic splash effects and sound.

Each year a group of merchants make up special items that are all transfer and priced at 100L for the holiday season to help out everyone that is trying to save some linden cash but still want to give everyone something a little special for the holidays.  The items are all supposed to be high quality and kept at a low price to keep the holidays merry.  I love this stuff and I’m going to pump ya’ll up so you can have something to look forward to!

I might even make up a special lil giftie for all of you shoppers too… I’m hoping to have a few things to offer like I did last year.

Yay!!  A new CoLab kit for everyone to have some fun with.  CoLab is a group of content creators who make either full permission or end user content that is kept at a low introductory price of no more than 60L for two weeks.  This round I have an offering of course.  I did actually have something else in mind but it didn’t quite work out.  Last round I had that awesome harp… I’m going to rework that and offer it up redone because I wanted it to be something of a limited offer.  I have lots coming up of course over the next weeks too so we’ll see.  If you want this rounds CoLab kit take a trip down.

Have you seen it?!  Roawenwood Acres is the next area that has gotten a face lift.  It’s still a wee bit under construction, displays aren’t quite finished but if you want to take a peek you can see the new build…. I’m going to be placing some items there in vendors like @ Splinter’d very soon so you get store credit and all there too.  The Christmas and Winter decor has begun to creep out and will be added to during the next few weeks.  I hope you all enjoy!

Other news?  Hunts, Hunts, and Events ALL over the place.  Next week I’m part of the 25L Black Tues. event, next weekend I’m doing a Black Friday sales event at my Cookie Jar spot, and I’ll probably be doing another round of 60L weekends.  This weekend I’ll be doing 60L weekend too so I’ll be sending out that notice on Saturday or so.  This Saturday the Traditional Christmas Hunt starts and there will be a giftie for everyone interested.  See, busy busy busy.  I’m SWAMPED!  *laughs*

Did you know that today June 30th is my rezz day?  Five whole years, a half of a decade *winces* of memories, experiences and weirdness here in Second Life.  I just couldn’t not find some way to commemorate this small but significant moment within my SL.  I’m going to share in the celebration and we’re going to have a romp around the sim.

Five (5) Rezz Day Cakes have been perched and placed around the Five Blades sim.  None are on the sims next door, I wasn’t that mean this time.  Five things for you to hunt for and have some fun with.  I’m hoping that everyone enjoys.  Example cake and info sign at the landing.  The Rezz Day Romp will run June 30th through sometime July 3rd when I decide to clean up the crumbs.

Since I put out a new outfit I threw together a color for the lucky chair too… a very pretty soft sage type color of the Simplicity Silks, kind of fitting since I did up the physicians outpost this week… which is a lot of green! lol  Enjoy.  Don’t forget that the fairy set is in there AND I added a special color of  Tatyana that won’t be for sale in the store.

I’m in the Midsummer Nights Dream 2 hunt, and the Naughty Toys Hunt at the moment… along with the CAW hunt for life, some really nice things in there too…. like wow, I got a lot of stuff out there huh.  lol

The lavish kennel I released awhile back is what got me to thinking about it.  Along the front of it there was an area that was left open.  I fiddled around with baskets and different small vanities thinking that the feel of the kennel was a place to ‘live’, to sort of be when not in service.  With that in mind it seemed like someone who had such rich apartments might also have a place to get ready to see their owner or to remain well groomed.  It would seem logically that one who is meant to be kept in such finery would also be very careful of how they look and are presented.  I had half thought of releasing it all together but then realized that it could also stand alone.  Either added to the kennel if one chose or something for a corner somewhere within their home perhaps.

The set comes with various accessories.  A little plant, pitcher, folded cloths, and perfume tray.  It has 10 animations for the individual, and then 4 sets for two.  The sets for two include gossiping, lounging, relaxing, and then the hair brushing.  The 10 singles anims vary from brushing your hair, to shaving, to journaling even.  I figured why not.  Combining and making it interesting, more depth and giving more opportunity for you.

I really like it.  Rich colors, nicely detailed, it rezzes props for different positions.  For example a full make-up set is rezzed when you are working with the anims for lipstick etc.  It can be tested at the main store.  I will probably place it with the grooming and bath things, and perhaps a box over near the lavish kennel display on Splinter’d.  It does go with it rather well as an added accessory.  The whole thing is copiable.  Inventory loss lately has been running rampant with customers so this is sort of a new thing… but one I think that will make it easier.  Now I just need to get some vendors set up so you can gift or give to other people too.

As a promotional introductory special I went and put the grooming furs into a limited buy vendor box, 15 copies of it will be sold at half price but only 15.  After that it locks down and you’re going to have to get it at full.  A very good deal, and never know when it will run out so if you are curious or want it… should check it out.

Last week I released a fun little camisk type number that borders on the too cute for me.  I called it Daisy Mae, it’s available in pink, yellow, and blue with another color… a silvery grey in the lucky chairs at the moment.  I may or may not sell the silvery one.  I haven’t decided but for now until I do it is in the lucky chair. It includes the camisk top, cute lil ruffled panties, short babydoll skirts, and sculptured socks to wear.  The socks have a part that are on the alpha layer that viewer two compatible viewers use, though I did include a shoe form for people who don’t use one.  But you should find something that uses alpha layers if you can.  It really is one of the good things that has been tossed out there.

Along with this as an added yay! thing I went and placed the second half of the Livia Gown in White & Silver on the marketplace.  (The other half is in the lucky chairs and won’t be sold)  However the fun part is… I discounted it (Only 145L), and it will NOT be for sale in world.  It is only available on the marketplace.

I’ve been keeping terribly busy, continuing to bring you what I can… and actually getting a lot accomplished.  A new hunt… the Darkness Inside started a lil bits back and I have a prize out for it.  There’s another starting the 16th that I am a part of too.  So keep your eyes peeled for that.

So I made up a cute little bench type thing, lush cushions, and thick mattress with a very sweet animation set.  The girl sitting on her guys lap feeding him chocolate covered strawberries.  First she picks one up, nibbles on it and then feeds him before leaning in for a soft kiss.  Awwwwww.  Embedded animation the bench gives a tray and strawberry to wear when needed.  I have a few other things out.  I marked down one of the Ilsa kirtles (chocolate colored, ha go figure), a reading rug… a sub stump, have to see that one to know what it is I’m not tellin but basically a few other lil things to have some fun with.  I haven’t decided what I’m going to release tomorrow though I was thinking that something along the lines of chocolate might be in order since we’re kinda workin a theme here.

Last weeks release was a bit more…… twisted.  A Bond Circle, and Slaver’s Pillow set thing.  You know I really didn’t know what to call it so I guess we kept it simple.  Both of them have a 9 part sequential set of animations that can be used one after the other to create a scene or you can choose the one you want to really focus on.  The sets work well by themselves so you don’t have to be confined in your role play.  This is one of those sets where when I place the poses I tilt my head and just…. “ok, now that is a rather interesting notion isn’t it….”  hehehe  Delightfully deviant it moves through a scenario starting with a man grabbing at and subduing a woman, putting her to her knees… having her pleasure him with her mouth, take care of him and then ending with him holding her in a rather loving animation set conquered.  Quite the forced fantasy which I think has great potential if you want it.

The Bond Circle version consists of a ring of rocks with very nicely shaded dirt/mud in the center…. it can be used in northern Gorean villages, or in out of the way forestry type places… well really wherever outside, the set includes ferns, trees, a couple stumps and a log so you can decorate it up too without just having the circle.  The greenery is unlinked so you can move it, or pick it up even.  Kind of thought it could become something a little different that way.  The Slaver’s Circle is a roughneck kind of version with a distressed canvas type rug, shaded and wrinkled up with a couple rings of pillows.  Very simple but done nicely to give depth to a room, slave house, dungeon… I kept it pretty basic so it could be used wherever hopefully…

That was the big one.  I did also release an outfit… since the Bond Circle thing got me thinking Northern Gor I made up a kirtle type thing but it isn’t really all that conventional.  I like it… been wearing it myself, in two colors.  Black and Red.  I wasn’t liking any of the other colors I came up with so I stuck with those.

Not sure where I am at at the moment…. I have some upcoming plans for the store that are going to probably shake it up a bit…. but don’t worry, I haven’t given up on ya’ll yet.  Have a great Tuesday, get down here and pick up your discounted items…. and I’ll talk to you soon.

·!¦[·    COUNTRY PATCHWORK ROCKERS AND TEATIME TRAY     ·]¦!·

The idea of a cozy fireplace, front porch or warm parlor comes to mind with this piece.  I love rocking chairs and have wanted to make up one that suited me moreso than the ones I had hanging about the store.  Richly textured with a plush cushion and a blanket hanging along the back.  Comes in either a shabby white, or wood grain with a couple options for texture change in the cushion and blanket.

The rocker includes 7 different animations.  Not poses but animations that have a unique feel to them, four different sits… then also knitting, needlepoint, and a drinking tea animation.  Props for the ones needed are given to you as you change the pose so you don’t have to do anything except wear them from your inventory.  A knitting/sewing basket is also included for decoration.

The tea tray/table is a little thing I put together because it seemed to suit the one chair so well.  In the same shabby white type coloring and accessorized it gives a teacup or cake to eat on click.

·!¦[·    HARNESSED - NEW OUTFIT    ·]¦!·

Harnessed is a real simple thing, strap running from the neck straight down with a strap across the hips.  Included within the outfit is the ‘laced’ version and the plain version with the rivets along the edge.  A sculpted waist skirt/sash rounds it out with a set of pasties tossed in there to help cover you up.

Available in 4 colors: Black, Red, Blue Satin, and Pink Sorbet.

NEW ITEMS IN THE LUCKY CHAIRS:  Well, sort of.  We’re calling this round the Grab Bag round!  You know all those different items that I put together as limited edition items?  Well…. because I’m in the middle of having an actual new item or two for the chairs I’ve decided to resurrect some of the past limited items and throw em in there.  There’s 12 different things in the chairs right now.  None of them have ever been for sale in the store.

NEW MINI MANIA STUFF:   In the main store I replaced the mini mania stuff… one has a pair of flats, the other has a pair of the soft hide boots.  There’s a twist, I’m being included in the Lucky Tribe Kookie thing to give Kudos Kookies so they are also in there.

I new hunt started on Saturday… the “There’s No Place Like Home” Hunt… an invitation only hunt for home and garden type products.  Has some nice places participating too!

Splinter’d has gotten a face lift… all redone even though it still needs to be tweaked.  There be pirates over yonder on the other sim.  Actually I think it’s kind of a fun build… I’m going to have some fun stuff for there in the near future too.

So today I’m in the round and have 5 items out.  Appropriately wintery items… woolies, and a fun building a snowman type thing with room for two people to work on it and talk.  Then I put out the breakfast in bed tray.  I dunno, it struck me that someone might want to as a Christmas present get that special someone their breakfast.  Sappy eh?  I know… I’m really a sucker for that kind of thing anyhow.

I put out a chore, sewing.  Pretty basic, nice lil pillow… accessories.  Some of my chores I’ve really been meaning to overhaul.  Redo them, update, fix em up.  I just always have so many things that I get going on that I never seem to actually do it.  It’s not that I’m overworked, it’s that I have too many ideas… too many ooo that is something I should do type thoughts.  hehe

Last but not least I put out a top, I hesitated to call it a camisk cuz well it really isn’t…. though it is showy, if you wore it alone then it’d be like… hello!  I’ve been fiddling with it for a bit, trying to get it more the way I want, along with adding things to it… to make it an outfit, not just the top but haven’t gotten that far sooooooo 25L day and ya’ll get a lil sneak peek.

I’m really tired today.  Stayed up late working, and then I just -could not- settle down.  I couldn’t sleep, I don’t think I actually literally fell asleep till sometimes around 5-5:30 am, and then pop back up at 7-7:30 to get my day going.  Of course, I was woke up technically around 6ish, but I stayed in bed half in and out of sleep trying to clasp to the last vestiges of it in the hopes of gaining a few precious seconds.

It kind of worked but I can feel my eyes being droopy already… and it’s only 9 am where I am at.
