Well, not exactly.

I said I was going to put out one of the Volupia outfits for the Gor hunt and I am, but not quite the way I had first intended.  Instead of putting out one of the semi-transparent sheer colored versions I came up with something even naughtier.  (( you know as a side note… it always seems like I try to come up with something naughtier for these hunts, go figure. )) Anyhow… I came up with a netted version of the camisk and it is going to be the free outfit that is part of the Gorean Grid Wide Hunt package.

The reason I say package is because I always end up putting more than one thing into the Gorean hunt giftie item.  This time I have 4 different things in there, and two of them have multiple pieces so really it is more than just 4.

I’m not going to give away the other items in there… it isn’t as much fun.  I will apologize that for those who don’t like to show off a whole lot of skin… well, the outfit that is in there… it doesn’t leave a whole heck of a lot to the imagination!

I think part of it is that recently I’ve gotten a couple comments that I should come up with something comparable to what I made last hunt… the Naughty Bits camisk because it showed off more of the body.  Most of my things really don’t…. well I think I met that challenge.  *brushes her hands off*

Have more in the works (of course) and since I’m not using the Volupia livery in the hunt, I may just release it a lil sooner than I had planned.

The Gorean Grid Wide Hunt begins August 8th, and I’m #14 out of something like 90 stores, so be ready!

The other night very late when no one was looking I put out something I have been working on in conjunction with some of my kitchen stuff.  It is an interactive kitchen block.  It has different scenes that can be rezzed, three different work animations (preparing food, kneading dough, rolling dough), and a rustic type appeal that could be good for just about anywhere really.

When you sit on it, you can choose which animation you want… click the towel for a prop if you need one, like the kitchen knife and then choose the scene you want to portray.  From cutting meat, to veggies, to bread… kneading dough, and more all intricately created so you can have a realistic role playing experience.  The scenes each load, deleting the one that is already there or you can choose to ‘clean up’ from the menu to have the prims picked up… so between sessions, chores, or scenes you can keep just the kitchen station at its low 11 prims sitting out.

The scene menu can be secured as well… owner only, group, or a free for all letting anyone access it.  You choose.

It can be seen at my main location, I haven’t placed it on Xstreet or at any of my other locations.

In other news…. hehe, the Gorean Grid Wide Hunt is starting in just a few days.  I’ve been working on something for it, an outfit but while in the process of making it, I end up creating a total of 6 colors for it.  So now I’m not sure which one I should put into the hunt.  I’m probably not going to release the outfit outright until after the hunt even though it is soooooooo tempting to put it out.  It’s a sweet little number, sheer slave livery with a lil prim skirt along the bottom.  Beaded accents and it shows up all of those lovely kajira curves.  So if anyone out there is reading this, and wants to input what color I’ll include… help!  *snickers*  I made it in black, blue, golden, green, purple, and red.  I’m tempted to be nice and go with the red… I haven’t decided.  Or maybe I’ll taunt you all and make something else entirely!

The outfit is called “Volupia” after the Roman (from what I read) Goddess of Sensual Pleasure… how appropriate.  I just was tickled by the idea and thought it fit.

As far as what else I’ll put into the hunt, I’m not sure.  The last time I participated I put quite a bit in there… I don’t know if I’ll put in AS much but I do want to have multiple items so it isn’t just geared towards one type of individual… I like having something in there that appeals to more than just a slave girl for example.

A few things to write about.  Firstly today is the last day of Gorfest, I hope ya’ll went down and checked it out or contributed to the RFL.  All that stuff is wrapping up for this year soon and I’m really grateful to anyone who’s helped out or done a lil something for it.  It’s wonderful.

Now onto the new furniture set.

Newly created and placed out at the new arrivals section of my main store is a set of furniture suitable for library, scribery, or office.  It’s done in rich darkly antiqued paneling with silvery toned accents along the edges.  Damask edging on the desk, and deep rich velvety textures on the cushions.

The desk is an authentic styled Gorean type.  It is low to the ground since Goreans really did find most chairs to be uncomfortable with thick pillows.  As an added feature the desk is unisex, outfitted with four different animations.  Two of the animations are just for sitting and relaxing… the other two are different writing animations.  The first is a sitting cross legged while writing for the men, and the second is a writing animation while kneeling modestly for the women.

The desk has a texture change option within the large middle back cushion with seven (7) different velvets; red, black, purple, blue, gold, green and brown.  The large cushions can be changed seperately from the smaller pillows that cuddle around your backside when you’re sitting… this is great because then you can decide to have two different colored pillow sets or all the same.  Perfect for Goreans who are trying to decorate around their caste colors.  Just think… use blue on the larger cushions, and gold on the smaller… the desk is set for a slaver!  Choose all red, and your warriors are all set… purple for the Ubar, and brown for the administrators.  Others can of course use them, mix & match to your hearts content for different looks, the colors are all rich, deep, and look great together.

Strewn across the top of the desk are various parchments, an inkwell, and quill.  Click the inkwell to receive a quill to wear while you work at the desk.

A library shelf is the next piece.  In each of the book accents on the shelves there is a notecard give script that will create a ‘more’ button when needed.  Nearly unlimited in capacity it will help you create a well rounded knowledge base of information and is only 9 prims.  There is also an object giver script in the bottom cupboard of the shelf unit so you can give away items if you desire.  Up to 22 different objects can be stored and given away… they should have copy/transfer rights to them to work properly.  This shelf unit would be nice in libraries or schools, maybe a kennel if you’re looking for something a little nicer looking.

There’s two pillow chairs in the same style as the desk chair (that can be seen at my main location).  One has single sits in it, and the other is a chair made for a Master and his slave.  The Master sits first, then the slave.  Click the chair to get the menu of positions, and the slave can choose from different positions while sitting in front of him.  Both chairs of course have the same texture change options/menu that the desk has.

A desk accessory set with extra parchments, sealed parchments, inkwells, quill, and a candle with wax seal set is also available.  Reading parchments at the main store along with a very nice bird of paradise potted arrangement made entirely of sculptured prims.  Tapestries, flowers, accessories, stacked books, and scrolls… tons of different options so you can have a disheveled or neat office.  It all works together creating a wonderful scene.

Hello hello!

Today kicks off the beginning of Gorfest… a two sim event with Gorean vendors and such for the RFL.  I have a spot over there with some brand new products and my RFL vendors set up.  The RFL stuff is coming to a close this month so the limited edition silks and such that I have out in the vendors will be picked up and no longer available soon if you haven’t gotten them yet.

The event goes from today until the 13th with events, fashion shows, dj’s and a whole lot of fun for everyone if they want to wander.  I’m hoping it will have a great turn out!

Go go go!!  Support the Relay for Life!  It’s a great cause and I’d love to see folks get involved.

Today was busy work day but along with that I managed to create a new piece of clothing that is a little different looking than my other pieces.  A camisk that I’m calling “Harlequin Burnt”.  It is short, high on the hips so it doesn’t hide much though it does cover the breasts and part of the back.  It’s a bolder look, with very rich coloring that might not be for everyone.

I liked it, and it honestly looks really cool with a pair of jeans too.  There’s a sash that sweeps along the waist and folds over in front of the thigh, an ornament adorns the sash making it a lil fancier.

The top is available in 7 different colors, from red to black to pink to orange.  I’ll attach  a few pics so you can get an idea.  Available at my in world location, I haven’t decided if I should put it on Xstreet or not.  Sometimes I avoid putting things on Xstreet where I have to fix the photos much so I don’t fall under adult stuff.  lol

I also updated the Midnight Mania boards, putting one of the Harlequin camisks into one… and then a very nice waterfall set with some sculptured swans into the other one.  I cleaned out and added new things to the lucky chairs too.  I left a few of the jewelry pieces from the belly dance outfit but then added some of the silks, and a pair of boots from around the store.  I’m going to try to come up with something that is more exclusive for the chairs but right now I’m stretched a lil thin so I figured having about 9 different pieces from around the store should suffice for now.  *chuckles*
