I got the store open and rolling on the first.  OMG, I thought I was going to lose my mind!  Well, as I have been told before that would imply that I had something of a mind to begin with. *snickers*  Ok, so now that the pressure is off I can breathe a little.

I have 4 (FOUR!) hunts going on, the What’s your Sign hunt started today.. the Twisted Hunt… the Falling in Love Hunt… and the Hunting for Role-play hunt.

Wow.

And if that wasn’t enough I threw something new into the lucky chairs for ya’ll to try to win… it’s a cute little number that I’m going to work on and get around for release. 

Then I also started a special Roawenwood only hunt.  I have scattered around the sim 10 little clusters of glowing mushrooms for everyone to find with prizes in them.  They are nice items, most not in the store even at this point.  Check out the sign at the store and see an example of what you’re looking for.

I’m seriously on the cusp of exhaustion so I’m taking it easy… and hope ya’ll are enjoying yourselves with what I’ve been having going on around the store.  I’m planning on hopefully putting some newness in the lucky chairs and getting the midnight mania boards back up this week. I might write up a blog post of some of the new items that were released this week… or I’ll edit this one later *grins*  But I gotta get right now… food is almost done!

I feel like the rabbit in Alice of Wonderland… “I’m late, I’m late!”

It took way longer than anticipated to get a build done.  I tried several and nothing was working… the one I had planned flopped horribly.  Then it became an exercise in trying to not pull out all of my lovely long hair in finding something that I could live with.  I don’t know if ya’ll know yet but I’m something of a perfectionist in some ways and a build that doesn’t *feel* right will make me very uncomfortable.  It took try after try after try….. and I found something unexpectedly that will work…………………….. for now.  I figure I can torment and tweak the thing or change it later if I need to but right now it suits.

A rather relaxing build, things are categorized pretty well, though…….. fair warning.  It’s big.  I figure if you’re going to do it, might as well go big!  Woot!  I do believe though that anyone that is close to me or knows me even a little bit has threatened bodily injury to me if I so much as breathe the word rebuild anytime soon.  I swear it, I’m not making this up.  Anyhow…. so get ready!  Tomorrow.  I’m not promising it will be like 7 am and me standing at the landing zone all done… nuh, should know me better than that.  But tomorrow it is and I have lots going on!

Three hunts start this week, one of them the TWISTED hunt and I actually quite like what I made for it.  I’m going to have sales specials every day, Thurs, Friday, and through the weekend.  I have -tons- of new items mixed in with other inventory and I’m going to have a Roawenwood hunt, something just on the sim…. so how can you really go wrong.  I’m hoping ya’ll will like the new build, and that no one gets too awful lost.

Ugh!  This past week has seen me huddled on the couch wrapped up in a blanket wondering why oh why was I sniffling, sneezing, coughing, and feeling the woes of a cold when it was beautiful weather just outside the door.  Sooooo not fun.

So this week I didn’t do much for Wednesday though I did do a secret refund type sale for the groupies.  If you are a part of the update list you got a note about it, if not well then you didn’t so you couldn’t take advantage of getting anything in the store for 50% off.  Maybe next time.

I’m a part of Gor-fest again this year…. so I’m going to be setting up my tents there for that tomorrow.

I had intention to but things didn’t work out and I’ve been hiding ever since. *laughs*

There’s a lot going on around the store though and I probably should keep ya’ll updated better.  The GGWH starts tonight.  That means you can come by my place and get some goodies from it after midnight tonight.  They’re running it a little different… you just pick up the trail wherever you feel like it and follow the landmarks.

Kind of like breadcrumbs?  In any case… you follow the path and see what you find.

I have some newness that I’m going to be putting out, and I think I am going to be moving the main store stuff into a temporary store in the sky real soon.  That means things will be a bit of a mess and ugly for awhile but I think I need to do that within the next few days.  Be prepared.  I’ll leave a note on the blog too when it does.

It’s the first of February!

That means it is time for some lucky patron of the Roawenwood gets to have their name drawn to win 2000L and a 2000L store credit.  This is one of my favorite things to do, *rubs her hands together and grins*.

This past months winner was Tickle Collazo!!   Congrats!!  I actually had fun reading through her profile… the limerick is cute.

The winner receives 2000L and a 2000L store credit to be used on whatever strikes their fancy at Roawenwood.  If you’d like a chance to win all you have to do is come by the store, click on the board for the contest, place Roawenwood in your picks and you’re all set!  Each month the list is wiped clean and we start all over.  On the last day of the month I will draw at random a winner and send out another notice.   A new winner will be drawn around February 28th.

So if you take a close look you’ll see that spring is beginning to show itself around the sim… hopefully it will warm you and carry you through if you (like I do) live in a snowy cold area in real life.  *laughs*

Doh!

Yes.. I realized it this morning.  I did one of those… “oh hey, wait a minute… what’s today?”  Insert another pause…. “ahhhhh shhhhhhhhhhhhi……..”

So yes… this week I dropped the ball.  I feel terrible too, I have a lot of fun with my Wednesdays.  SO!  On that note I am going to be sending out an extra bit of lovin to my update group (I’m thinking a gift certificate with something tucked inside maybe) and next week I’ll have a big red note on my calendar so I don’t miss which day I’m on.

I swear…. if I didn’t keep notes I’d be lost, but then again half the time I lose my notes so I’m thinkin I’m just gonna have to wing it.
