March 1st! Another month has slipped by way too quickly for me and it’s time to pick a winner for last months contest.

I know you’re all just dying to know who it was right?

>>>> FEBRUARY PICKS CONTEST WINNER <<<<

The winner receives 2000L and a 2000L store credit to be used on whatever strikes their fancy at Roawenwood. If you’d like a chance to win all you have to do is come by the store, click on the board for the contest, place Roawenwood in your picks and you’re all set! Each month the list is wiped clean and we start all over. On the last day of the month I will draw at random a winner and send out another notice. A new winner will be drawn around March 31st.

This past months winner was Ashalyn Dreamscape!! Congrats!!

>>>> NEW LUCKY CHAIR ITEMS AND GRID HUNT NEWS <<<<

This month we’re goin a bit green with a special edition coloring of the Andromeda outfit. It WILL NOT be placed out for sale so if you’re interested in having it then you’re going to have to come down and see if you get lucky.

I also threw a fun little item in there just to break up the monotony but you’ll have to come find out what that one is.

If you’re thrifty or just like grid hunts I am involved in two at the moment. Well technically one of them doesn’t start until the 3rd I think but I have my prim out, placed, and the gift inside already for walkthroughs and all… so you get a special heads up if you want to find it beforehand. I know it’s cheating and all but well…… *shuffles her foot across the floor* I won’t tell if you don’t.

The first hunt is the Wheel of the Year Hunt, it’s geared towards the Pagans in SL. The second hunt is the Nature’s Hunt… this gift is a little less specific and I like both prizes quite a bit. Signs/hints/what to look for are in the nets at my landing zone.

Have fun… Wednesday I’ll have some new releases and something for your Hump Day.

This week I’ve had a really big project going on along with some other things so I’ve been soooo busy that I didn’t get the Hump Day offer for this week out till a little bit late.

This week I’m revamping an oldie, one of my very first Hump Day deals… everything on the New Arrivals palettes are at 50% off until sometime Feb. 19th. At some point that day I’ll raise the prices back up to their normal ones.

This is quite a bit of stuff because I haven’t cleaned off them off in a bit, and keep adding new things. This goes for the babydoll camisks, the hair wreathes, the old socks, fishing boat, fishing chair, dockside chair, both basket weaving things, the entire soap making collection and then the new furred bed that was just released.

EVERYTHING on the New Arrivals palettes are 50% for the next couple of days so if you want you should take a peek.

Much love and Happy Hump Day!

You know sometimes when I make something I put myself into the item a bit and can imagine all sorts of possibilities. This is one of those. A new bed that I’ve been holding onto for awhile in my inventory that is just pure sweet luxury. If you like furs and deep snuggly spots this is just perfect. A more rustic type twist in a way it is fashioned after the idea of the Gorean couch/bed.

The bed itself is set within a stone base, etched and chiseled out to be a little bit fancier than a slab of rock then draped ALL over it are different kinds of furs.

Soft luxurious and thick the thing looks like it is just meant to be sunk down into, wrapping yourself up and then spending hours within its warmth. I personally think that it can be used for hunstman, Gorean, fantasy or medieval type places no problem whatsoever or if you are looking for something a little different than your standard bed. It is made of sculptured prims so it doesn’t have the harsh edges that you see on a lot of beds of this nature adding to that comfortable feeling.

It has 43 couples sets using MLP v2, 5 different menus to help you know just what you want to use. Cuddles, kisses, foreplay, relaxing, and play. There are 3 singles lays in the pillows and it is only 11 prims (+2 for the MLP). A super way to save prims but not give up on luxury or utility.

Enjoy!

Ack, I know! I didn’t update the blog much this week. I’ve been struggling with grid issues and things so much that I just didn’t get myself around to here till now.

Wednesday was a serious hump day. It felt like it was never going to end and the problems just kept mounting. SL was having fits. Couldn’t build, open my notecards or scripts, could do anything really for quite awhile so I didn’t get to do the event that I had planned for this week. However, since I am ever the optimist, I did do another secret sale/refund. This time though you can get any TWO items in my store for 50% off. It’s like the other sale… purchase your items, send me a NC with the transaction history and I’ll send you a 50% refund of your purchase price. Update list members are given first notice about sales and discounts so if you want to be kept up to date you should click on the subscribe button at the landing zone at Roawenwood.

You can take advantage of this with any purchases made until Feb. 13th right before midnight and we switch over to Valentines day. This way you can get a lil something for yourself, and something for a friend.

I’ve had quite a few releases that weren’t really announced on the blog, as well as a couple not even put through my update list. I’ve been working on a fishing set series, with more to come. The first was the Roawenwood Fishing Dinghy and then there was the Dockside Fishing Chair… this was a request actually from a customer. She loved the boat but wanted something for her deck, and voila there you have it. I already was going to do something similar but it was a good kick in the backside to get me moving. More to come with this series very soon.

I have a few little Valentines goodies at the landing zone. Some adorable lil bunnies, candy, baskets, that kind of thing. Last minute gift ideas.

I’m working on a new outfit, still trying to get the clothing layers the way I like and I’m trying to decide how flamboyant to make it. It’s a little different than previous releases so I hope ya’ll like it when it comes out.

I have a few new ideas rolling around in my brain… but that’s normal.

Happy Friday everyone, I hope this weekend goes wonderfully for you!

Woot, Wednesday again so it is time to try to find some way to spice it up a lil bit for ya’ll. I’ve been working on these garden arbors. Trying to find the right combination to make them appealing but not too prim heavy. With Valentine’s coming up I’ve been trying to also come up with something a bit softer.

This week I placed out a nice rose arbor, it has the same animation set that my Rustica Hammock has, and one of the loungers in the furniture section. I really love this animation set. It has 8 poses/animations total, one person laying on one side… another laying opposite them on the other side. Slightly cuddly male/female set where he caresses along her belly, and then a less cuddly version that is set for a couple friends to kick back and just relax. I’ve spent a few hours on pieces using these sets just talking.

So for the Hump Day Happenins around my place I decided to crate up the rose arbor and then a plain rose arbor w/out the couch or animations then put it out on the sim for ya’ll to find.

I left a hint in the notecard for the update list groupies so if you wanted that you’d need to be a part of the update group. *winks* Otherwise… well try your hand at wandering the sim and see if you can find it.

The mini-hunt will go on through tomorrow at least though the arbor is available in store for purchase if you miss it or just really don’t like to do hunts.

Have a great rest of your week!

A new winner will be drawn around February 28th.

Ahhh, winter is loosing its grip on the sim. Slowly the snow is melting and retreating, first the roof tops lost their white powdery covering, the ice has thawed on the pond (no more ice skating! *sniffs*) while patches of green begins to peek through the snow. Of course this means that the snow people had to pack their bags… can’t very likely hang about now.

So if you take a close look you’ll see that spring is beginning to show itself around the sim… hopefully it will warm you and carry you through if you (like I do) live in a snowy cold area in real life. *laughs*

Today is Hump Day so I’m running a special this week. Dance pits and everything in the large purple/blue tent is 50% off. A good little bit of merchandise… the harem rug is a nice little deal if you’re interested marked down to 300 something lindens.

What I’m REALLY excited about is the release of my latest work set. I’ve been working pretty hard on it and trying to get a flavor of authenticity with it. I know it isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea or fun idea but I created a soap making set. This isn’t just a basic thing with a campfire with a couple molds or something. This set in its entirety can take you through the different phases of the process of making soap the old fashioned way. From gathering the ashes so you can make the lye, to the creation of said lye…. then onto the cooking, mixing, and rendering of the soap. After all of that there is also a piece for pouring the soap into the molds.

There’s four distinct pieces to the set each one with an embedded animation that is adjustable through menu… you know how much I try to avoid using poseballs if I can help it, helping create that immersive air for interactions. I think this set could be used by a lot of different types. Rustic and all, of course a slave chore but it could be used for those that have a business making soap or perfumes too. I can see all sorts of opportunity when you take a little bit of an effort… then pour it into something else.

It can be purchased as a set or individually if you only want a piece or two.

To try them out, come down to Roawenwood at the five blades sim.

Hello to the brave and loyal few who like to listen to me ramble on a weekly basis, or whenever the mood strikes. It is Wednesday! You ready for it? What a week…. what a week… This week is sick week, been down and mostly out with a nasty stomach virus for the past 3 days so I really can’t say I have anything new to throw at you. I’m still sippin on my chicken noodle. *grins*

HUMP DAY SPECIAL FOR THIS WEEK

Since I really didn’t come up with anything new I’m going to give you all a heads up. This week today the 20th and through the 22nd I’m knockin a healthy discount down off of most chores and related items. 50% off unadvertised (except for you lovelies and anyone you decide to clue in) on most things in and around the sheds.

The apple/larma picking, and orange picking trees are also included in the special as well.

So there it is…. short, and sweet… to the point this week.

I have a few things in development as always, can’t keep me down for long. Some new chores, new furniture and maybe even an outfit rolling around somewhere.

Take care and have a good week! Talk to ya’ll soon.

A new release for the downtrodden, the less than fortunate… for she-urts, vagabonds, hobos and the like. For slave girls, bond maid, and whoever else that can’t afford a good shoe, or who just don’t care for shoes but still want something covering up those toes especially during cold weather.

Old and worn socks have arrived at Roawenwood! Sculptured prim heavy knitted socks in 11 different colors, worn, and shaded, slouched down at the ankle. You get the whole socks, and you also get a sock with a hole in the end of the toe… sculpty big toe stickin out ever so nicely too!

A great role play accessory for men or women. The socks are sized for women but they can be stretched to fit a mans foot as well. I tried, and honest it works, I might resize and put a male set into the boxes just to make it easier and then add they are unisex however I haven’t yet. Maybe tomorrow. *grins*

They look real nice… and are a lot of fun. A couple of the colors, plum and copper I believe, have been added to the lucky chairs along with the exclusive outfit that I put in there earlier this month.
